Orientation is the first step in the matriculation process.   Whether you are a recent high school graduate, returning to college after years in a career, or attending college for the first time in your life, our orientation is an important opportunity for you to become familiar with the terminology and expectations for attending college.  During the orientation you will learn about:

  • Student and support services offered at the college
  • Campus life opportunities
  • Important college policies and procedures
  • Steps for registering
  • Understanding the importance of the other matriculation steps (assessment and advisement)
  • Strategies for success in college
